“My approach to caring for a patient is to form a partnership with them and their primary care provider. Through this triad partnership, we can make a positive difference in their health problems. The patient is the key to this partnership.
I try to convey that we are in this together. I strive to serve my patients to my best ability so that they can get back on track, feel better, spend more quality time with their spouse or partner, and chase after their children or grandchildren.”
Dr. Harada, his wife Alice, and their 2 children enjoy Western Washington’s diverse opportunities for cultural, outdoor, and family fun. They spend time exploring the hiking trails, coastal scenes, and small towns around the area and they try to keep up with their children’s enthusiasm for soccer, dance, and golf. Dr. Harada otherwise seeks out the peacefulness of the outdoors and enjoys capturing landscape photographs, a favorite pastime of his from Hawaii, his childhood home.
